We yesterday spoke off the Consol design that could hook to electronic gadgets and become an interface for a cherishable computing experience. The fantasies were not yet over, and we now have another reason to imagine the impossible. The reason is called Cocoon and it wants to the take the level of computing to a height never thought of. The researchers over NAU want to make it a computer that comprehends human interfacing thus understanding the movements of the hands, the legs and other external parts of our body. The user could actually step inside it and gather all the information he wants by kind of grabbing it. It would be a circular screen on the inside, along with surround sound and all this combined with human interfacing would put the Cocoon on top of the list when talking about user friendly devices. Connect it to the web or enjoy the games, it means a scintillating experience at all times.

Eizo C T-One
I think all of us have used our laptops while in front of the television, and so we use two controllers: a mouse and a remote control. Now, there is a way to have two controllers on one device.
The Eizo C T-One is a wireless mouse that comes with nine TV remote control functions including power, channel up/down, volume up/down, broadcast switching, input switching, and even picture-in-picture. This mouse/controller has a range of about 10 meters, and operates on the 2.4GHz wireless band. The C T-one is powered by two AA batteries, and it will power down after 30 minutes in order to conserve power. These two batteries will last about three months.
So far it looks like it will be retailing for ¥12,600, or around $120 US, and although it is scheduled to be available today, we could not find anything about a US availability.
ATLAS Kinetic Cell Phone
Bringing a balance to both form and function is one of the greatest challenges any hardware designer can face, so thankfully we have concepts that allow one's imagination to go wild. The Atlas Kinetic cell phone concept is made out of aluminum and glass, where the central sapphire glass shows off the generating and charging unit. It is powered via kinetic energy just like those found in kinetic-powered watches. Unfortunately, this phone does not push the technological boundary as it comes with most basic of functions, presumably because the amount of power generated isn't enough to run all the other heavy multimedia stuff. At least there's no charger to lug around.
E-paper Slap Bracelet
The Chocolate Agency, which sadly has absolutely nothing to do with delicious cocoa, has designed the conceptual E-Paper Slap Bracelet. It's an MP4 player in which the entire surface acts as a thin, high contrast and energy efficient screen. As an added bonus it needs no charging -- it's powered by the kinetic energy produced by moving your arm. Say, did you know when slap bracelets first came out they were just a piece of rusty metal covered in plastic or cloth? Yeah, me neither, well at least not until the lockjaw set in.
